Be sure to look through all of the settings on all of the tabs shown to insure that you are actually creating the type of run that you wish.

User Prompts:
· If you specify that you want prompting to occur, the utility will prompt you anytime it finds a candidate for replacement as defined by your settings. If this is the case the replacement will not be performed unless you specify to do so. This is a good way to debug a project while you are developing it, especially if you debug it as a ‘Dummy Run'. It also provides a mechanism for a fine level of control when you want to be particularly careful in re: which substitutions are performed.

Results:
· The Results tab will automatically come up when a run is being performed. It shows the current status of the operation and all of the decisions and substitutions that were, or were not, made. It is wise to look through these results while you are developing a project since you may find a need to change some of the values (e.g. the search strings, the rules, etc.) so that it acts differently in the future.

Restoration of Find and Replace Start-Up Position and Size:
· The size and position of the various windows displayed will automatically be remembered and restored the next time that the windows appear.

Built-In Help:
· Clicking the Help button on one of the windows will bring up a display of this file.
